| How to consume it? | Fresh frozen spirulina can be consumed in several ways to reap its nutritional benefits. Here are some suggestions: Defrosting: Remove the frozen portion of spirulina and let it thaw at room temperature. You can also place it in the refrigerator to thaw slowly. In smoothies: Add thawed spirulina directly to your smoothies. It blends well with fruit, yogurt, and other liquid ingredients. In cooked dishes: Add spirulina to soups, sauces, or pasta dishes. Do this at the end of cooking to preserve its nutritional properties. With cereals: Stir thawed spirulina into your oatmeal or other breakfast cereal. In addition: You can take spirulina alone by the spoonful after thawing, or mix it with a little water or juice. As always, start with a small amount to see how your body reacts, then adjust to your preference. |
